Big bet on FordBlack Rock appears to have many connections from Australia to England and America. What is not obvious now is how Black Rock affects the price of the shares and how their share of our American Pie is being affected.I print out info, including the SEC reports that I find and review it later.My concern , when I see an ‘unknown to me’ come in is that there is something afoot.I have seen this over the years in companies. As stockholders (ordinary) figure it out it is too late as they loose their shares and money in some way.The stockholders that are not major holders or major funds, are the last to know.In other words there should be full disclosure now by a company, firm, making a major buy not after the fact. I would love for us to take off but it is going to take time. (IMO). I have been buying since 2009 waiting for F to take off. I think 2015 might be the year. But not at least until the AF 150 and Mustang numbers are in (Once again IMO).That being said somebody just picked up 500K shares at 16.31, so there is short term interest. Look for really high volumes and PPS acceleration to let you know you missed the bus when it happens.That’s why I’m sitting on a "truck load" of shares. My last purchase (over a dozen since 2009) was in Jan. 2015.I F,Anyone who owns a submarine surely doesn’t need my help. (Unless it might be changing the windshield wipers). If we then start the slow climb up 2 3 days up, 3 4 down, then hopefully 3 4 days up 2 3 down. As long as we don’t get over heated or miss earnings, we’ll climb to 17 17.50 with a possible run to 18. Then based on earnings and volume we will either drop like a stone bird back to 14 15 or finally break 18 and drop back and start a new RCP (17 .50 18ish).When the AF 150 numbers and the Mustang numbers come in we need heavy volume (40 50M daily 100M would be great) with any movement, or we’ll just drop back again. Ford has a historic momentum problem, but if the AF 150 and all the new models can’t give the bump, I am out of here in EOY 2015. (For now anyway). Ford has said that the last two quarters of this year will be where Ford earns most of its $8.5B to $9.5B this year. So, the third quarter of this year will be very telling. I am reading that, at some point during the third quarter, Ford should be producing vehicles from the new assembly plant in India as well as the new assembly plant in China. The two new assembly plants will help Ford Asia/Pacific during the second half of this year. As Tdot has told us many times, all heck brakes loose regarding Ford’s stock price when Ford’s multiple exceeds 12 times current earnings. So, 12 times $2.46 in 2018 would be $29.52. Accordingly, assuming the projections hold true, then Ford hitting $33 may happen no sooner than around the end of 2018 (12 times future earnings from 2019). By that time, Ford should have all its debt issues resolved. So, going forward from there, Ford’s stock price may have the opportunity for multiple expansion especially if, by then, the market believes that the auto industry is a growth industry, and Ford may be able to initiate share buybacks around that time.I F,Part of what I’m looking for is P/E expansion. So with a P/E of 20, I’d say we need a lot more E, which I’m pretty sure we will see in 2015.The other positive is the Divi. If they take it seriously and get us back to historic levels, that not only makes for attractive yields but ups the credit rating and draws in more big institutions. I’m sure that’s coming also since the Ford family doesn’t exactly work for a living. This is a big year for me deciding if F is a generational stock for
