4 Lori Graham CTV Montreal Weather Specialist
A Montreal native of the West Island, Graham has held a passion and vision for the public since a very young age. Throughout elementary and high school, she was a darling of public speaking contests and a star of the stage in the numerous productions she participated in. With all of this under her belt it is no surprise that she was elected to give the valedictorian speech at her graduating ceremonies from Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School.
Graham got her first break in Montreal media in her second year of broadcast journalism at Concordia University when she was awarded CJAD’s Al Cauley Award. It was only weeks after this accomplishment that Graham was hired as a news reporter and traffic reporter by both CJAD and Mix 96. Despite her quick plunge into the work force Graham was still able to graduate from Concordia University with the highest marks in her program.
After years of eclectic education Graham took her passion for all her disciplines and brought them together to land herself a spot on CTV Montreal as their new face of weather.
It was during the historic ice storm of 1998 where Lori Graham first debuted on the CTV network. In what she has coined her "baptism by ice," Graham rose to the occasion during one of the most difficult storms in Montreal history and earned the trust and admiration of CTV viewers.
What makes Lori Graham stand out from the crowd on the airwaves is not only her solid and outgoing presence in front of the camera, but the style in which she delivers herself. To make it short, people don’t view in just to get the weather, they also view in to see what she is wearing.
At the end of each broadcast, and the credits begin to roll, smack dab in the middle is the "who" Lori was wearing that night. In a field of work where "image is everything" Graham has become somewhat of a fashion trend setter for her viewers at home.
When not in front of the camera, Graham donates her time to such charities, as the Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone, Ronald McDonald House, CTV’s Telethon of Stars, and the Children’s Wish Foundation.
No matter the forecast, no matter the day, there’s always a little bit of extra sunshine wherever Lori Graham goes.
