Hi guys I actually caught covid the first time so yeah things have been going weird. I'm recovered now (sort of) so things are picking up again.

It's been too hot and noisy (meh) to do any art stuff rn. I've done some random sketches here and there but nothing worth noting...

But anyways...

Our Paint v0.3b is released

It's a bug-fix release^↗ and I've taken care of some instabilities in previous versions, overall it's pretty straightforward.

I have successfully ported Our Paint to android, most functionalities are working just fine. Some stuff regarding file management is a bit hit or miss, needs fixing. On android the performance is not as good as on desktop, but still serviceable. I got pen input and finger gestures working as well (pinch and move stuff). Currently connecting and disconnecting pen tablet to phone would cause Our Paint to hang, not sure why, but will be fixed before I release this on google play and maybe huawei app store.

Small update on the DIY video camera

I got a new video recorded with the fully functioning body and button hardware. "The Sun Is Very Big"^↗.

Stereo microphone input is working, but I haven't written the audio recording feature yet. Will do it later when I got time.

I have actually prepared all the related pages about the camera and the camera software project, once I finished the audio thing, I'll release those pages as well as downloads for you guys to reference.

Plans

I don't really know what comes next. I will hopefully be improving some stuff related to texture painting in blender, otherwise polishing Our Paint for v0.4 and android releasing. As for the camera project... Well I'll see how it goes, maybe keep improving on it when I have time. I do want to focus more on my painting sketches but the mood just isn't there :/.
