in the cache folder. On my machine, the location of the cached file is $HOME/.cache/JetBrains/RemoteDev/dist/951f5b99b8987_ideaIU-2024.2.5/bin/idea.properties
.idea.max.intellisense.filesize

to let it finally work.#---------------------------------------------------------------------
# Maximum file size (in KiB) IDE should provide code assistance for.
# The larger file is the slower its editor works and higher overall system memory requirements are

# code assistance for any files available regardless of their size.

idea.max.intellisense.filesize=60000

Similarly when your dev container is in IPv6-only environment, IDEA will report "Network is unreachable". Following steps are required to fix the issue.
Find idea64.vmoptions
in the cache folder. Typically at ~/.cache/JetBrains/RemoteDev/dist/xxx_ideaIU-xxx/bin/idea64.vmoptions
.
Add these arguments:
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=false
-Djava.net.preferIPv6Addresses=true
