To congratulate the Microsoft Edge team on their successful release of the new browser, Edge, the Chrome team at Google sent them this cake:

Microsoft Edge

Edge is a brand new browser from Microsoft and ships as the default browser on Windows 10. Interestingly, Edge becomes your default browser after upgrading to Windows 10 even if you had set Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as your default browser (and Mozilla is not really happy about this)

Edge at least for now, feels snappy and clean. It reminds me of Chrome in its initial days. We have to watch which direction the team takes, keeping the browser snappy and lean while adding more features. (and yes, keeping the memory usage less)

Did you try the Edge browser yet? What are your thoughts?

PS: I had this wild idea of covering Edge news and tips here (If possible that is. I switched to Mac at work recently, and at home, I am mostly on my Chromebook). What do you guys say to that?
