Apple CEO Tim Cook sought to reassure employees following Donald Trump’s shocking electoral victory this week, according to an internal memo obtained by Buzzfeed News. In the memo, sent Wednesday, Cook called on Apple employees to come together after the bitter presidential campaign, and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to diversity.
“We have a very diverse team of employees, including supporters of each of the candidates,” Cook said in the memo. “Regardless of which candidate each of us supported as individuals, the only way to move forward is to move forward together.”
