Here’s footage of Shigeru Miyamoto playing the Super Mario Bros. theme song with The Roots. It’s probably the most famous song in video games being played by the most famous video game designer and producer — he’s also the most adorable.
It’s a big day for Nintendo with Miyamoto doing the press rounds ahead of the launch of Super Mario Run next week. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé was also on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show off the new Nintendo Switch console.
