其实论文返修之后改不完是一件很正常的事情，有的返修整的跟重写一篇一样，累的一批。我现在就遇到了这个情况。之前写道《搞科研写论文很多时候就是个体力活》，最终还是属于体力不支没干完。

废话不多说，直接上我写的邮件在这备份一下：

These experiments are crucial for enhancing the overall quality of our work, and their accurate execution requires additional time and resources.（这里换成你实际的原因，比如要修正的工作量比较大、最近能处理论文的时间比较少等等，最好写的让人觉得可信点）

Therefore, we kindly request an extension of the deadline for submitting our revised manuscript. We would appreciate a grace period of at least two weeks, aiming for an 30th April submission date, although we will endeavor to complete the revisions as soon as possible. This extension will ensure that we have adequate time to conduct all necessary experiments and integrate the findings thoroughly into the revised manuscript.（这一段写你期望延长多久，一般是1周~2周是不怎么过分的，延长太久除非是迫不得已，需要具体说明原因）

编辑那边其实挺nice的，直接就给我设置了延期。

当然能快点还是尽可能快点，拖拉不是好事，其实今天小陶已经基本处理完了，明天再检查检查就可以提交了。
